(f) Make sure bit 16 changes from 1 to 0 when the supply pressure is in the range 117-140 psig. 1) If bit 16 does not change from 1 to 0 in this range remove
the electrical connector from the HP controller and do a check for continuity between pins 5 and 6 on the controller (WDM 36-11-41, WDM 36-11-42, WDM 36-11-43, WDM 36-11-44).
2) If there is continuity, replace the HP controller (AMM 36-11-06/401).
3) If there is not continuity, repair the wiring between the controller and the ASCTU (WDM 36-11-41, WDM 36-11-42, WDM 36-11-43, WDM 36-11-44)
(g)
Increase the supply pressure to 150 psig.
(h)
Decrease the supply pressure until bit 16 changes back to 1.
(i)
Make sure bit 16 changes from 0 to 1 when the supply pressure is between 117-140 psig. 1) If bit 16 does not change from 0 to 1 within this range,
replace the HP controller, (AMM 36-11-06/401)
(j)
Decrease the supply pressure to zero.

Do these steps to do a test of the HPC PHL and PC pressure switch using input monitoring:
(a)
Display the input monitoring page on the CMC by selecting the following: 1) MENU 2) OTHER FUNCTIONS (page 2 of the CMC menu) 3) INPUT MONITORING.
(b)
Type in the following depending on the engine number being tested. 1) For engine 1 type in: E/40/351/10 2) For engine 2 type in: E/40/351/01 3) For engine 3 type in: E/40/351/11 4) For engine 4 type in: E/40/351/00
(c)
Make sure bit 14 (PC switch) and bit 16 (PHL switch) are 1 with zero supply pressure.
(d)
Increase the supply pressure to 8 psig. After 8 psig slowly increase pressure (1 psig/second) until bit 14 changes to 0.
(e)
Make sure bit 14 changes from 1 to 0 in the range of 10-18 psig. 1) If bit 14 does not change from 1 to 0 in this range remove
the electrical connector from the HP controller and do a check for continuity between pins 1 and 2 on the controller (WDM 36-11-41, WDM 36-11-42, WDM 36-11-43, WDM 36-11-44).
2) If there is continuity, replace the HP controller (AMM 36-11-06/401).
3) If there is not continuity, repair the wiring between the controller and the ASCTU (WDM 36-11-41,4 WDM 36-11-42, WDM 36-11-43, WDM 36-11-44).
(f) Increase the supply pressure to 45 psig. After 45 psig slowly increase pressure (1 psig/second) until bit 16 changes to 0.

Use the 'HIGH PRESSURE SUPPLY' gauge on the test box if necessary.Make sure bit 16 changes from 1 to 0 in the range of 52-72 psig. 1) If bit 16 does not change from 1 to 0 in this range remove
the electrical connector from the HP controller and do a check for continuity between pins 3 and 4 on the controller (WDM 36-11-41, WDM 36-11-42, WDM 36-11-43, WDM 36-11-44).
2) If there is continuity, replace the HP controller (AMM 36-11-06/401).
3) If there is not continuity, repair the wiring between the controller and the ASCTU (WDM 36-11-41, WDM 36-11-42, WDM 36-11-43, WDM 36-11-44).
Increase supply pressure to 80 psig.
Decrease the supply pressure until bits 14,16 change to 1.
Make sure the bit 16 changes back to 1 at 52-72 psig
1) If not replace the HP controller, (AMM 36-11-06/401)
Make sure the bit 14 changes back to 1 at 10-18 psig
1) If not replace the HP controller, (AMM 36-11-06/401)
Decrease the supply pressure to zero.
Slowly increase supply pressure to 15 psig.
Make sure the HPSOV is fully open by 15 psig.
1) Make sure the HPSOV is open by visually inspecting the
position switch. 2) Make sure the HPSOV shows OPEN on the ECS maintenance page. 3) If the HPSOV fully opened but does not indicate OPEN on the
ECS maintenance page, troubleshoot the position switch and/or wiring. 4) Make sure the reference pressure is equal to or greater than 12 psig.
