A. General
(1) This procedure contains one task. The procedure gives instructions to attach the APU duct restraint cable to the pneumatic duct.

(2) S 014-190Open the 315AL access door in the area aft of the stabilizer box compartment.
(3) S 214-191Get access to the APU pneumatic duct restraint.
(4) S 434-175Put the duct restraint strap around the duct.
(5) S 434-176Put the duct restraint clamp around the duct.
(6) S 824-177Align the two restraint cables with the duct restraint strap in order to install the bolts.
(7) S 434-178Install both bolts (along with washers, nuts, and radius fillers) between the duct restraint strap and the two restraint cables (do not tighten).
(8) S 434-179Install the T-bolt (do not tighten).
(9) S 434-180Tighten the two nuts and bolts between the duct restraint strap and the restraint cables.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE UPPER RESTRAINT CABLE DOES NOT TOUCH THE
_______ DUCT.
(10) Push the duct restraint clamp and strap downward to make sure that the upper cable has approximately 1/2-inch deflection.

Tighten the T-bolt to a maximum of 20 inch-pounds. S 824-184
