Get access to the precooler flange that you will repair.

Use the flange reforming tool and repair the precooler flange.

If you cannot repair the precooler flange while the precooler is installed, remove the precooler to get access to the damage flange (AMM 36-12-01/401).

Repair the precooler flange with the flange reforming tool.
(5)
Install the precooler (AMM 36-12-01/401).

FAN AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General________
A. This procedure contains three tasks. The first task removes the fan air temperature sensor. The second task installs the fan air temperature sensor. The third task does a test for the installation of the fan air temperature sensor.
B. The fan air temperature sensor is installed on the pneumatic duct on the left side of the strut. To get access to the sensor, it is necessary to remove the access panel for the midlower forward strut.
C. The installation of the fan air temperature sensor is the same for each strut.
