(e) Open the thrust reversers (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Do these steps to drain the fuel from the applicable fuel line and engine fuel pump.
(a)
Put the fuel resistant container (5 gallon), below the applicable engine fuel pump.
(b)
Remove the drain plug from the fuel pump.
(c)
Drain the fuel into the container.
(d)
Remove and discard the O-ring from the drain plug.

Test the Spar Valve for the No. 1 Engine
NOTE: This test makes sure that the spar valve is in the correct

closed position.
