Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
On the DC power distribution panel, P180: 1) 180M8, FUELING VALVE 2 2) 180M9, FUELING PWR - HOT BAT 3) 180C25, FUELING LTS PANEL 4) 180C26, FUELING LTS RECP
(b)
On the left power distribution center, P414: 1) 414F22, FUELING PWR 2) 414F17, FUELNG VALVE
(2)
Open the right door of the P180 panel.
(3)
Loosen the screws (3 locations) that attach the relay to the socket.

WING SURGE TANK FLOAT SWITCH - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains instructions to remove and install the float switch from the wing surge tank.
B. A float switch is found in each wing surge tank, installed on the front spar.
(1)
To remove the float switch it is necessary to extend the leading edge flaps to get to the float switch flange on the forward side of the front spar.
C.
When persons do maintenance in the area of the wing leading edge, install the safety locks on all of the extended leading edge flaps.
