 F. Fuel Crossfeed Valve Actuator Operation Test

 (1)  
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (2)  
Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close the applicable circuit breaker:

 (a)  
P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
 1) 6L14, FUEL XFEED VALVE ENG 1
 2) 6L15, FUEL XFEED VALVE ENG 2
 3) 6L16, FUEL XFEED VALVE ENG 3
 4) 6L17, FUEL XFEED VALVE ENG 4

 (3)  
Put the applicable XFEED VALVE switch on the fuel control module on the pilots' overhead panel P5 in the OPEN position.

Make sure the manual override lever on the actuator (1) moves to the OPEN position.

Put the switch in the CLOSED position.

Make sure the manual override lever moves to the CLOSED position.

 WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LEADING
 EDGE AND TRAILING EDGE FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE
 YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.  WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED,
 THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU

 MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.

 MAIN TANK BOOST PUMP MOTOR/IMPELLER UNIT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
_______________________________________________________________
 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure contains instructions to remove and install the motor/impeller unit for the main tank boost pumps. To remove the boost pump housing, refer to AMM 28-22-12/401.
 B.  Motor/impeller units for the inboard main tank boost pumps are found at the inboard end of the fuel tank, installed in the housings on the front and rear spars. Motor/impeller units for the outboard main tank boost pumps are found at the outboard end of the inboard main fuel tanks, installed in housings connected to the boost pump dry bay walls.
 C.  To get access to the motor/impeller units for the inboard main tank boost pumps, extend the leading edge flaps (fwd pump) or go into the wheel well area (aft pump). Access to the motor/impeller units for the outboard main tank boost pumps is through the boost pump dry bay access doors.
 D.  When persons do maintenance in the area of the wing leading edge, install safety locks on all extended leading edge flaps.
 E.  Install the wing and body gear door locks when you do maintenance in the wheel well area.
