 CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE DEFUEL LEVER IS CORRECTLY POSITIONED IN THE
_______ RECESS ON REFUEL RECEPTACLE ADAPTER. IF THE DEFUEL LEVER IS NOT IN THE CORRECT POSITION, IT IS POSSIBLE TO DAMAGE THE REFUEL RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY. IF THE REFUEL RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY IS DAMAGED, A FUEL LEAK CAN OCCUR.

 Make sure the defuel lever is correctly positioned in the recess for refuel receptacle adapter.

 Install the receptacle cap on the refuel receptacle.

 REFUEL VALVE CONTROL UNIT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure contains instructions to remove and install the control unit for a refuel valve.
 B.  The refuel valve control units are installed on the rear spar of each wing fuel tank. Each inboard main tank and center wing tank has two control units. Each reserve tank has one control unit.
 C.  You can get access to the control units in the main and reserve tanks through access panels on the bottom of the wing. You can get access to the control units for the center wing tank through the wheel wells for the wing landing gear.
 D.  Make sure the wing and body gear door locks are installed when you do maintenance in the wheel well area.
