Remove the applicable fuel tank access door (AMM 28-11-02/401).

 (b)  
Go into the fuel tank (AMM 28-11-00/201).

 (c)  
NO. 2 AND 3 ENGINE SPAR VALVES; Go to the front spar through the access hole in the midspar.

 (d)  
N0. 1 AND 4 ENGINE SPAR VALVES; Remove the applicable mid spar access door (AMM 28-11-25/401).

Do these steps to remove the valve body:

 (a)  
Disconnect the couplings (4) from the valve body (5).

 (b)  
Discard the packings (9).

 (c)  
Remove the bolts (7) and washers (8) (four locations) that attach the valve body (5) to the mounting bracket (6).

 (d)  
Disengage the valve body (5) from the adapter shaft (3).

 (e)  
Remove the valve body (5).
