REFUEL VALVE UNIT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains instructions to remove and install the valve unit for a refuel valve assembly.
B. There are instructions given for the valve unit at these locations:
(1)
The main or reserve tanks
(2)
The center wing tank
C.
The refuel valves are in each fuel tank, installed on the spar between the refuel manifold and an outlet tube.
D.
You can get access to the refuel valves through the applicable fuel tank access doors.
E.
Two persons are necessary to do this procedure.
(1)
One person must be in the fuel tank to hold the valve unit and to disconnect and connect the fuel tubing.
(2)
One person must be out of the fuel tank to remove and install the mounting hardware.
