Set the GND TESTS switch on the overhead maintenance panel, P461, to the ENABLE position.

Prepare the CDU for the test:
(a)
Push the MENU key on the CDU to show the MENU.
(b)
Push the line select key (LSK) that is adjacent to <CMC to show the CMC MENU.
(c)
If <RETURN shows after you push the LSK, push the LSK that is adjacent to <RETURN until you see the CMC MENU.
(d)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to <GROUND TESTS to show the GROUND TESTS menu.
(e)
Push the NEXT PAGE key until you find <28 FUEL.
(f)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to <28 FUEL to show the GROUND TESTS menu for the fuel system.
(g)
Push the NEXT PAGE key until you find <SNGL PT SNSR CARD.
NOTE: If INHIBITED shows above <SNGL PT SNSR CARD the test

will not operate.

4) Go to the CMCS Message Index of the Fault Isolation Manual to find the corrective action for each CMCS message.

PRESSURE FUELING SYSTEM - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General_______
A. The pressure fueling system provides a rapid means of filling the fuel tanks in the airplane. The system distributes fuel under pressure from a fueling station in each wing to the tanks through manifolds and refuel valves. The refuel valves allow fuel to flow from the main distribution manifold into the tanks. Power for the pressure fueling system is supplied by the ground handling bus or battery bus.
B. Each fueling station is equipped with two fueling receptacles coupled together to a manifold that extends through the outboard main tank to the main distribution manifold along the rear spar. Each receptacle incorporates a manual shutoff valve.
