(4) Look at the fuel synoptic display. (a) Make sure the No. 2 crossfeed valve symbol is white and the flowbar in the valve symbol is perpendicular to the fuel-feed segment.

(5) Put these fuel boost pump switches on the fuel management control module, M154, to the ON position: (a) MAIN 2 FWD (b) MAIN 2 AFT

(6) Look at the fuel synoptic. (a) Wait for two minutes. (b) Make sure the fuel quantity in the No. 1 main tank does not increase.

(7) If the fuel quantity in the No. 1 main tank does not increase, the No. 2 crossfeed valve is in the closed position.

(8) Do these steps to open the crossfeed valve for the No. 2 main tank. (a) Put this switch on the fuel management control module, M154, to the on position: 1) FUEL X FEED 2 (b) Look at the light indication in the FUEL X FEED 2 switch. 1) Make sure the amber VALVE indication light comes on and then goes off. 2) Make sure the white flowbar indication light comes on.
