Make sure the TOP position marker on the adapter plate is correct:
(a)
No. 2 and 3 engine spar valve - TOP position marker is at the top of the adapter plate.
(b)
No. 1 and 4 engine spar valve - TOP position marker is at the bottom of the adapter plate.View B-B).

Prepare these surfaces for an electrical surface bond
(SWPM 20-20-00):
(a)
Faying surface of the index plate and valve actuator.
(b)
Faying surface of the bonding jumper and bonding jumper tab.
