Install the safety locks on the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

Make sure the landing gear ground locks are installed.

_______ LOCKS. THE DOORS OPEN AND CLOSE QUICKLY AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(5) Install the wing and body gear door locks (AMM 32-00-30/201).

CAUTION: PUT A PLYWOOD SHEET OR EQUIVALENT ABOVE THE PRESSURE RELIEF
_______ PANEL ON THE WING INBOARD LEADING EDGE. DO THIS STEP BEFORE YOU DO A CHECK OF THE FORWARD BOOST PUMPS FOR THE NO. 2 AND 3 MAIN TANKS. DAMAGE TO THE PRESSURE RELIEF PANEL COULD OCCUR IF THERE IS NO PROTECTION.

Put a plywood sheet above the pressure relief panel on the inboard leading edge.

6) 414J5 FUEL BOOST PMP MAIN FWD 3
7) 414R18 FUEL BOOST PUMP MAIN AFT 2

F. Calibrate the QuadTech Model 1864 Megohmmeter Procedure
NOTE: Do this procedure before you do the resistance checks and each
____ time the megohmmeter is moved. This is necessary to make sure the megohmmeter is calibrated correctly and the adjustment knobs have not accidentally been moved.

(1)
Do these steps to calibrate the megohmmeter:
(a)
Disconnect all of the leads from the megohmmeter (if necessary).
(b)
Make sure the megohmmeter is insulated from any metal work stands.
(c)
Make sure that you wear protective clothes (rubber gloves, insulated shoes, etc.)
(d)
Put the power switch to the POWER position.
(e)
Put the function switch to the DISCHARGE position.
(f)
Put the multiplier dial to any range setting.
(g)
Adjust the SET "infinity symbol" dial until the meter shows the infinity symbol.
(h)
Set the multipler dial to the 10-1T range.
(i)
Set the function switch to MEASURE.
(j)
Adjust the SET "infinity symbol" HIGHEST RANGE dial until the meter shows the infinity symbol.
(k)
Connect the test probes to the megohmmeter.
