(1)
Put a large quantity of petrolateum on a new O-ring.
(2)
Install the new O-ring in the groove on the flange.

(4) S 644-023Put a large quantity of petrolatum on a new O-ring.
(5) S 434-012Install the new O-ring in the groove on the receptacle.
(6) S 424-013Put the adapter on the refuel receptacle with the lanyard lug in the direction of the outlet.
(7) S 644-024Apply a thin layer of petrolatum on the six screws.
(8) S 434-014Install the screws (6 locations).

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE DEFUEL LEVER IS CORRECTLY POSITIONED IN THE
_______ RECESS ON REFUEL RECEPTACLE ADAPTER. IF THE DEFUEL LEVER IS NOT IN THE CORRECT POSITION, IT IS POSSIBLE TO DAMAGE THE REFUEL RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY. IF THE REFUEL RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY IS DAMAGED, A FUEL LEAK CAN OCCUR.

Make sure the defuel lever is correctly positioned in the recess for refuel receptacle adapter.

_______ PROCEDURE (AMM 27-81-00/201). THE FLAPS CAN QUICKLY RETRACT IN 7 SECONDS AND CAN CAUSE INJURY OR DAMAGE.
(12) Remove the leading edge flap safety locks, if the locks are installed (AMM 27-81-00/201).
