Look at the light indication in the FUEL X FEED 1 switch. 1) Make sure the amber VALVE indication light comes on and
then goes off. 2) Make sure the white flowbar indication light comes on.
(c)
Monitor the fuel synoptic.
1) Make sure the valve symbol for the No.1 crossfeed valve changes in this sequence: a) White - flowbars perpendicular with fuel-feed segments
(valve closed) b) Amber (valve in-transit) c) White - flowbars parallel with fuel-feed segments
(valve open)
(d)
After approximately 15 seconds look at the main and auxiliary EICAS displays. 1) Make sure these EICAS messages do not show:
a) FUEL X FEED 1 (advisory)
b) FUEL X FEED 1 (status)
(e)
Put the FUEL X FEED 1 switch to the off position.
(f)
Look at the light indication in the FUEL X FEED 1 switch. 1) Make sure the white flowbar indication light goes off. 2) Make sure the amber VALVE indication light comes on and
