_______ (MASTINOX 6856K). IF MASTINOX GETS ON YOUR SKIN, IMMEDIATELY REMOVE IT WITH WATER. IF THIS MATERIAL GETS IN YOUR EYES, IMMEDIATELY FLUSH YOUR EYES WITH WATER AND GET MEDICAL AID. THIS MATERIAL CONTAINS VERY POISONOUS AND FLAMMABLE AGENTS WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS.
CAUTION: REMOVE UNWANTED MASTINOX FROM SURFACES WHICH WILL BE
_______ LUBRICATED. IF YOU APPLY MASTINOX TO JOINTS THAT TURN, FAILURE OF THE LANDING GEAR TO EXTEND OR RETRACT CAN OCCUR.
(2) Clean and lightly lubricate all the attach bolts, pins, and bearing surfaces with grease immediately before installation.
NOTE:____ Apply Mastinox 6856K to parts which are not lubricated with grease after installation (AMM 12-21-11/301).
NOTE: Apply a layer of MIL-PRF-23827, or the preferred grease BMS
____ 3-33 to parts which are lubricated with grease after installation (AMM 12-20-00/301).

(3) Put the lower torsion link (23) in its position to align with the holes in the shock strut lugs.

(4) S 424-036Install the lower torsion link pin (22) with the head inboard.
(5) S 434-037Add the washer and nut.
(6) S 434-038Torque the nut to 100 to 180 pound-feet.
(7) S 434-039Loosen the nut to the nearest castellation and install the cotter pin (zero torque is permitted).
(8) S 424-040Align the upper torsion link (5) with the lower end of the drag strut (1) and the shock strut lugs.
(9) S 424-041Install the upper torsion link pin (4) with the head inboard.
