(2) S 824-024If it is necessary, adjust the axle jack to do the steps that follow.
(3) S 434-025Put the thrust washer on the T-bolt.and insert T-bolt through universal assembly.
(4) S 424-026Put the T-bolt through the universal assembly.
(5) S 424-027Put the T-bolt into the lower drag strut.
(6) S 824-028Move the lower drag strut up to align the T-bolt with the shock strut lugs.

Apply a layer of compound to the washer, the bolt shank, and the threads (Ref 12-21-11/301).

With the head inboard, install the bolt through the shock strut lugs and the T-bolt.
