Make sure that all the circuit breakers for the landing gear are open on the circuit breaker panel, P6-2.

Make sure that the ground locks are installed.

Install the safety sensor.
(a)
Put the safety sensor on the mounting bracket.
(b)
Install the sensor mounting bracket bolts and nuts as follows: 1) Install the mounting bolts with the heads forward for the air safety sensor. 2) Install the mounting bolts with the heads up for the ground
safety sensor. 3) Make sure you do not tighten the mounting bolts.

Install the clamp for the sensor wires on the interlock valve bracket.

Put the sensor wires through the clamp.
(b)
Install the clamp.

Connect the sensor wire to the wire bundle.

Twist the sensor wires ends together.

Put the sensor wire into the wire bundle.

Install the tie wrap.
(d)
Attach the wire bundle with a clamp

Cut the sensor wire to the correct length.

Install the contact pins to the sensor wire ends.

(c) Install the contact pins in the correct connector locations.
(7) S 434-016Install the electrical connector.
(8) S 724-017Adjust the safety sensor (AMM 32-09-01/501).
(9) S 414-019Install the cover for the safety sensors.

(10) Do a test of the safety sensors (AMM 32-09-01/501).

General

A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task is the adjustment of the safety sensors (air and ground) for the main landing gear. The second task is a test of these sensors.
B. The sensors are on the support assembly for the interlock valve of the ground spoiler. The support assembly is on the forward, outbord ceiling of the right (main gear) wheel well.
