Test for the M986 Circuit Card (Main Gear Red Light)

(1)
Prepare to do the test:
(a)
Make sure the ground lock assemblies are installed on all gear (AMM 32-00-01/201).
(b)
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(c)
Supply power to the hydraulic system A and B
(AMM 29-15-00/201).
(d)
Make sure these circuit breakers are closed on the P6 panel: 1) AURAL WARNING 2) LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LTG
(e)
Do these steps to prevent the sound of the takeoff warning horn during the test: 1) Make sure the stabilizer arrow on the middle console is in
the green band. 2) Move the flap lever to the 15 unit position. 3) Make sure the speed brake lever is in the down position.
(f)
Remove pressure from hydraulic system A and B (AMM 29-15-00/201).

(2)
Do a test of the M986 circuit card:
(a)
Move the two throttles to the fully forward position.
(b)
Move the landing gear lever to the DN position.
1) Make sure all the green lights for the landing gear (on the P2 panel) are on and all the red lights are off.
(c)
Move the landing gear lever to the OFF position. 1) Make sure all the red lights for the landing gear come on.

Put actuator bars on the face of right main gear uplock sensor S74, and left main gear uplock sensor S72. 1) Make sure the red lights for the right and left main gear
(on the P2 panel) go off.
(e)
Move the landing gear lever to the DN position.
1) Make sure all the red lights for the landing gear stay off and all green lights stay on.
(f)
Put deactuator bars on the face of right main gear downlock sensor S73 and left main gear downlock sensor S71. 1) Make sure the red lights for the right and left main gear
(on the P2 panel) come on and the right and left green lights go off.
(g)
Move the landing gear lever to the OFF position.
1) Make sure the red lights for the right and left main gear go off.
(h)
Move one of the two throttles to the idle position. 1) Make sure the red lights for the right and left main gear
come on. 2) Make sure you hear the aural warning horn continuously.
(i)
Move the two throttles to the fully forward position. 1) Make sure the red lights for the main gear go off. 2) Make sure the aural warning horn stops when the throttles
are moved.
(j)
Move the landing gear lever to the DN position. 1) Make sure the red light for the nose gear goes off.
(k)
Put deactuator bars on the face of nose gear lock sensor S846, and nose gear down sensor S845. 1) Make sure the red light for the nose gear comes on.
(l)
Move the landing gear lever to the OFF position.
(m)
Remove the deactuator bar from nose gear lock sensor S846. 1) Make sure the red light for the nose gear goes off.
(n)
Move one of the two throttles to the idle position. 1) Make sure the red light for the nose gear comes on.
(o)
Remove the deactuator bars from right and left main gear downlock sensors S73 and S71.
(p)
Remove the actuator bars from main gear uplock sensors S74 and S72.
(q)
Remove the deactuator bars from nose gear lock sensor S845.

Put the airplane in its initial condition.
(a)
Move the two throttles to the idle position.
(b)
Move the flap lever to the UP position.
(c)
Remove electrical power, if it is not necessary
(AMM 24-22-00/201).
