Make sure that the ground lockpins (AMM 32-00-01/201) are installed in all the gears.

(2)
Lift the airplane on jacks until the wheels nearly touch the ground (AMM 07-11-11/201).

(3)
Remove the downlock springs (2) (AMM 32-32-91/401).
(4)
Hold the downlock strut and the upper and lower side struts.
(5)
Remove the bolt keeper (6) and the retaining bolt (5).

(6)
Use the thread protector and remove the bolt (5) to disconnect the downlock strut (3) from the reaction link (4).

(7)
Use the thread protector and remove the attachment bolt (10) to disconnect the downlock strut (7) from the lower and upper side strut (9, 11).
(8)
Remove the downlock strut (3).
