 I.  Test for the M987 Circuit Card (Left Gear Downlock Switch)______________________________
 S 844-035
 (1)  
Prepare to do the test.

 (a)  
Make sure the ground locks are installed on all the gear (AMM 32-00-01/201).

 (b)  
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (c)  
Make sure this circuit breaker is closed on the P6 panel: 1) LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LTG


 S 724-037
 (2)  
Do a test of the M987 circuit card:

 (a)  
Make sure all the green lights for the landing gear (on the P2 panel) are on.

 (b)  
Put a deactuator bar on the face of left main gear downlock sensor S71 on the left gear side strut. 1) Make sure the green light for the left main gear (on the P2

 panel) goes off.

 (c)  
Remove the deactuator bar from sensor S71. 1) Make sure the green light for the left main gear comes on.

 (3)  
Put the airplane in its initial condition.

 (a)  
Remove electrical power, if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).


 J.  Test for the M988 Circuit Card (Left Main Gear Uplock Switch)______________________________
 S 844-041
 (1)  
Prepare to do the test:

 (a)  
Make sure the ground locks are installed on all the gear (AMM 32-00-01/201).

 (b)  
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (c)  
Make sure there is no pressure in hydraulic system A and B (AMM 29-15-00/201).

 (d)  
Make sure this circuit breaker is closed on the P6 panel: 1) LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LTG


 S 724-043
 (2)  
Do a test of the M988 circuit card:

 (a)  
Move the landing gear lever to the DN position.

 1)  Make sure all the green lights for the landing gear (on the P2 panel) are on, and all the red lights are off.

 (b)  
Move the landing gear lever to the OFF position.


 1)  Make sure that all the red lights for the landing gear come on.

 (c)  
Put an actuator bar on the face of the left main gear uplock sensor S72 near the left main gear uplock hook. 1) Make sure the red light for the left main gear (on the P2

 panel) goes off.

 (d)  
Remove the actuator bar from sensor S72. 1) Make sure the red light for the left main gear comes on.

 (3)  
Put the airplane in its initial condition.

 (a)  
Remove electrical power, if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).


 K.  Test for the M989 Circuit Card (Aural Warning Logic)______________________________
 S 844-045
 (1)  
Prepare for the test:

 (a)  
Make sure the ground locks are installed on all the gear (AMM 32-00-01/201).

 (b)  
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (c)  
Supply hydraulic power to systems A and B (AMM 29-15-00/201). 1) LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LTG 2) ANTISKID FAIL WARN & PARK BRAKE 3) AURAL WARNING

 (d)  
Do these steps to prevent the sound of the takeoff warning horn during the test: 1) Make sure the stabilizer arrow on the middle console is in


 the green band. 2) Make sure the speed brake lever is in the down position. 3) Put chocks under the wheels. 4) Release the parking brake.

 (2)  
Do a test of the M989 circuit card:

 (a)  
Move the flap lever to the 1st unit position.

 (b)  
Make sure that flaps extend.

 (c)  
Move the two throttles to the fully forward position.

 (d)  
Put a deactuator bar on the nose gear down sensor S845, above the nose gear left trunnion pin.

 (e)  
Move the No. 1 throttle to the idle position. 1) Make sure you hear the aural warning horn continuously.
