If the lower torsion link or the upper and lower torsion links will be replaced, do the steps that follow:

Remove the main gear wheels (AMM 32-45-11/401).

(b) Remove the main gear brakes (AMM 32-41-41/401).
(4) S 034-019Remove the pins that connect the support brackets (24) of the hydraulic line to the lower torsion link (23).
(5) S 034-005Disconnect the hydraulic line guides (16) from the main gear damper (17).
(6) S 434-006Safety the hydraulic lines until they are clear of the torsion links.
(7) S 034-020Disconnect the link (21) that connects the electrical harness to the lower torsion link (23).
(8) S 214-008Examine the spacer (19) and the bushing (20).
(9) S 034-010Remove the bolt that attaches the support bracket (9) of the electrical harness to the damper (17).

(10) Remove the support bracket (9) of the electrical harness from the damper (17).
NOTE: When you remove the right gear torsion link, disconnect the
____ spoiler lockout teleflex cable from the upper torsion link (5) of the right gear.

Move the support bracket (9) of the electrical harness until it is clear of the torsion links.

Examine the washer and the flanged bushing (8).

Remove the checknut (10), the lockbolt (13), and the lock washer (11).
