 MAIN LANDING GEAR - INSPECTION/CHECK

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure contains tasks to examine the main landing gear.
 B.  The regular inspection of the landing gear is given in par. 2. A special inspection is necessary after a hard landing, after a brake seizure when you tow the airplane, or is moving at high speed on the ground, after the gear has collided with an obstacle, and after a high energy stop. For special inspections refer to Chapter 5.

 (6)  S 216-024Examine the attachment of the torsion links and the lower drag strut for tightness, missing cotter pins, lockrings, and lockbolts.
