Put the access platform in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).

Starter Motor Cleaning.
(1)
Clean the starter motor (8KA) (8)/(14) with a clean lint free cloth. Use solvent CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-002) on the cloth.
(2)
Clean the starter motor electrical connections with a soft bristle brush. Use solvent CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) on the brush.
(3)
Dry the starter motor with a dry lint free cloth. Subtask 49-42-51-410-061

Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the off position.
(3)
Close the APU access doors 316AR, 315AL (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4)
Remove the access platform(s).
(5)
Remove the warning notice(s). Subtask 49-42-51-865-065
