A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(3)
Make sure that the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR are open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(4)
Make sure that there is a notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to switch the APU MASTER SW p/bsw to ON.
(5)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

A. Installation of the Ignition Unit
(1)
Put the ignition unit (3) in position on the APU and install the bolts (5) and the washers (4).
(2)
TORQUE the bolts (5) to 0.57 m.daN (50.44 lbf.in).
(3)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.

(4)
Connect the ignition lead and the low tension electrical lead (1).
(5)
TORQUE the ignition lead (2) to 0.79 m.daN (69.91 lbf.in).
(6)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD

Set the light SW 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3)
Close the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001).

Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Pressurize the reservoirs of the hydraulic systems.
(Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2)
De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(3)
Remove the warning notice(s).
