Remove the electrical connector (1) from the fuel shutoff solenoid-valve (8026KM) (2).

Put a container below the fuel control unit.
(4)
Remove the nuts (7) and the washers (6) from the fuel shutoff solenoid-valve (8026KM) (2).
(5)
Remove the fuel shutoff solenoid-valve (8026KM) (2) from the mounting studs.
(6)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(7)
Remove and discard the packing (3) (3).
(8)
Remove and discard the packing (4) (4).
(9)
Remove and discard the packing (5) (5).
(10) Remove the container.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3)
Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
