B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5)
Put the container below the Fuel Control Unit (FCU). Subtask 49-32-11-865-065

D. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.

A. Removal of the FCU
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (5) from the FCU solenoid.
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(3)
Loosen the nut (1) and turn the plate (2) to release the union (3).
(4)
Disconnect the union (3) from the FCU (6).
(5)
Remove and discard the O-rings (4).
(6)
Loosen the captive bolts (12) and turn the plate (11) free from the pipes (10)
(7)
Disconnect the pipes (10) and (15) from the FCU.
(8)
Remove and discard the O-rings (9) and (14).
(9)
Loosen the clamp (8) and remove the FCU from the oil module.
(10)
Remove and discard the O-ring (7).
(11)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected pipes (10), (15) and the FCU (6).
