Before you disconnect the two igniter cables, disconnect the low tension connector P10 and wait for 5 minutes.

Ground the the igniter leads with an insulated device before you disconnect them from the igniter unit.

(1)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off, then wait 7.5 minutes before you do the procedure.
(2)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to push the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch to on.
(3)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized

A. Removal of the Ignition Unit WARNING : DISCONNECT THE LOW TENSION ELECTRICAL SUPPLY 5 MINUTES BEFORE
_______ YOU START WORK ON THE IGNITION SYSTEM. ALSO, GROUND THE IGNITER LEAD WITH AN INSULATED DEVICE AS YOU DISCONNECT IT FROM THE IGNITER PLUG. HIGH CURRENT AND VOLTAGE, WHICH ARE USED IN THE IGNITION SYSTEM, CAN KILL YOU.
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector P10 (4) from the ignition unit (3), wait 5 minutes before doing steps (2) to (4).
(2)
Disconnect the igniter cables (2) from the ignition unit (3).
(3)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4)
Loosen the bolts (1), but do not remove them. Remove the ignition unit (3).

Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
