Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.

Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized

D. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Make sure that the light SW 11LJ is set to the ON position.
(4)
Put a container below the flow divider (8).
4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Flow Divider and Drain Valve Assembly (8023KM) CAUTION : PUT PLASTIC CAPS OR PLUGS ON ALL FUEL AND/OR LUBRICATION SYSTEM
_______ COMPONENTS AND LINES. IF YOU USE TAPE, CLOTH, OR METAL CAPS ON THEM, YOU CAN DAMAGE THE APU.
CAUTION : YOU MUST USE TWO WRENCHES AND HOLD THE COMPONENT WHEN YOU
_______ REMOVE/INSTALL THE PIPE COUPLINGS AND/OR UNIONS. THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENT.
(1)
Remove and discard the lockwire from the fuel pipe connections at the flow divider and drain valve assembly (8023KM) (8).
(2)
Disconnect the main fuel inlet-pipe (1) from the flow divider and drain valve assembly (8023KM) (8).
(3)
Disconnect the fuel drain pipe (2) from the flow divider and drain valve assembly (8023KM) (8).
(4)
Disconnect the secondary fuel pipe (3) from the flow divider and drain valve assembly (8023KM) (8).
(5)
Disconnect the primary fuel pipe (4) from the flow divider and drain valve assembly (8023KM) (8).
(6)
Hold the flow divider and drain valve assembly (8) and remove the bolt (5), the washer (6) and the bracket (7).
(7)
Remove the flow divider and drain valve assembly (8023KM) (8).
(8)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(9)
Prevent damage to the component interface and the adjacent area.
