Disconnect the Bleed-Control Valve (BCV) electrical-connector (P33).

Use the dummy connector (EN2997SE01212CN). to simulate an electrical signal 'BCV-CLOSED' to ECB 59KD.

Install the two jumper leads (gauge 20) between contacts 4 and 5 and contacts 3 and 6
(b)
Retain the jumper leads in position with a backshell.
(4)
Connect the dummy connector to plug (P33).
(5)
Secure the plug (P33) with cable ties to aircraft structure.
(6)
Put a blanking cap on the electrical connector of the BCV.
(7)
Make sure that you put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons that the Bleed Control Valve is deactivated.
(8)
Make an entry in the aircraft technical log.

Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the off position.
(2)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

Close the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001).

Remove the access platform(s).

On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
