A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(6)
Make sure that the APU access doors are open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(7)
Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.

A. Install the Starter Motor Clutch
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 49-42-52-991-005)
(1)
Remove the blanking plug from the gearbox housing.
(2)
Apply a thin layer of lubricant OILS (Material No. 03-002) to the new packing (5) and install it on the cover (4).
(3)
Install the clutch (7) in the gearbox housing.
(4)
Install the wave-spring washer (6).
(5)
Position the cover (4).
(6)
Install the bolts (1) and washers (2) to secure the cover.
(7)
Install the V-clamp (3) with the bolt (1) and the washer (2).
(8)
TORQUE the bolts (1) to 1.4 m.daN (10.32 lbf.ft). Subtask 49-42-52-410-054
