Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Apply a thin layer of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-014) to the threads of the igniter plug (3).
(4)
Remove all blanking caps and put the gasket (4) in position on the igniter plug (3).
(5)
Install the igniter plug (8031KM) (3) and the gasket (4).
(6)
Tighten and TORQUE the igniter plug (8031KM) (3) to 2.03 m.daN (14.97 lbf.ft).
(7)
Connect the ignition electrical lead (2) to the igniter plug (8031KM) (3).
(8)
Tighten and TORQUE the ignition electrical lead (2) connection to 0.4 m.daN (35.39 lbf.in).
(9)
Safety the connection with lockwire-corrosion resistant steel 0.8 mm (0.0314 in.).
(10)
Connect the electrical connector (1) and safety with lockwire.
(11)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD.

Remove the access platform(s).
