Connect the two tubes (15).
(9)
TORQUE the tubes (15) to between 180 and 200 lbf.in (2.03 and 2.26
m.daN).

Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(11)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(12)
Connect the electrical connector (1) to the fuel control unit (12).
(13)
Install the two harness clamps (9) with bolts (8), washers (10) and nuts (11).
(14)
TORQUE the clamp nuts (11) to 40 lbf.in (0.45 m.daN).
(15)
Lubricate the new packings packing (3) with FUELS (Material No. 01-002).
(16)
Lubricate the male threads of union (5) with LUBRICANTS (Material No. 06-001A).
(17)
Install the new packing (3) on union (5), install the union (5) in the fuel inlet of the FCU.
(18)
TORQUE the union (5) to between 35 and 40 lbf.ft (4.74 and 5.42 m.daN).
(19)
Install the new packing (3) on the union (5), install the pressure switch (4).
(20)
Lubricate the male threads of union (2) with LUBRICANTS (Material No. 06-001A).
(21)
Install the new packing (3) on union (2), Install the union (2) thru the pressure switch banjo (4).
(22)
TORQUE the union (2) to between 35 and 40 lbf.ft (4.74 and 5.42 m.daN).

(1) Do the operational test of the APU (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-710-008).
(a) Operate the APU for min. five minutes and examine the joints of the fuel control unit for leaks.
