 On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.

 (2)
 Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.

 Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized

 Put the access platform in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.

 Open the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).


 4. Procedure

 A. Removal of the Igniter Electrical Lead WARNING : DISCONNECT THE LOW TENSION ELECTRICAL SUPPLY 5 MINUTES BEFORE
_______ YOU START WORK ON THE IGNITION SYSTEM. ALSO, GROUND THE IGNITER LEAD WITH AN INSULATED DEVICE AS YOU DISCONNECT IT FROM THE IGNITER PLUG. HIGH CURRENT AND VOLTAGE, WHICH ARE USED IN THE IGNITION SYSTEM, CAN KILL YOU.
 (1)
 Ground the igniter leads with an insulated device.

 (2)
 Disconnect the LT connector P10 from the ignition exciter.

 (3)
 Disconnect the electrical leads (4) from the igniter plugs.

 (4)
 Disconnect the electrical leads (4) from the ignition unit (5).

 (5)
 Remove the screws (1), the nuts (3) and the clamps (2).

 (6)
 Remove the grounding device.

 (7)
 Remove the leads (4).
