A. Remove the manifold and fuel nozzles (Ref. TASK 49-31-41-000-001)
4. Procedure

A. Inspection of the Fuel Nozzles and Manifold.
(1)
Make sure that the manifold insulation is not damaged.
(2)
Make sure that the nozzle fuel inlet connections (5) are not damaged, or blocked with carbon deposits.
(3)
Examine the nozzle mounting flange (5) and make sure that there is no damage.
(4)
Examine the atomizer assembly for damage or carbon deposits. None is permitted.
(5)
Blow filtered air through each nozzle connection. Make sure that there are no blockages.
NOTE : If a blockage is found replace the nozzle assembly.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3)
Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
