B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3)
Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

D. Get Access
(1)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(2)
Make sure that the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR are open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Make sure that the light SW 11LJ is set to the ON position.

A. Installation of the FCU (8022KM)
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Remove the blanking plugs.
(4)
Lubricate the new packing (3). Use OILS (Material No. 03-002).
(5)
Install the packing (3) to the FCU (8022KM) (1).
(6)
Examine the adapter threads (16), (12), (10), and (7) for damage.
(7)
Examine the FCU and the oil-pump assembly mount-faces for damage.
(8)
Examine the FCU and the oil pump assembly splined shaft and sleeve for damage.
(9)
Lubricate the new packing (15) with FUELS (Material No. 01-002).
(10)
Install the packing (15) and the APU fuel LP switch 5030QM to the FCU (8022KM) (1) (Ref. TASK 28-22-14-400-001).
(11)
Lubricate the new packing (6) (6) with FUELS (Material No. 01-002).
(12)
Install the packing (6) and the adapter (7) to the FCU (8022KM) (1).
(13)
Lubricate the new packing (11) (11) with FUELS (Material No. 01-002).
(14)
Install the packing (11) and the adapter (10) to the FCU (8022KM) (1).
(15)
Lubricate the new packing (13) packing (13) with FUELS (Material No. 01-002).
(16)
Install the packing (13) and the air check valve (12) to the FCU (8022KM) (1).
(17)
Lubricate the FCU splined shaft with COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-010).
(18)
Safety the adapters (16), (10), (7) and the pipe connector (5) with lockwire-corrosion resistant steel 0.8 mm (0.032 in) dia.
