A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(3)
On the FUEL overhead panel 40VU, make sure that all L TK PUMPS and the R TK PUMPS pushbutton switches are released (the OFF legends are on).

A. Operational Test of the APU Fuel Low Pressure Circuit
NOTE : You can feel with your hand when the APU fuel pump operates.

1. On the ECAM control panel:
-push the APU pushbutton switch.
2. On the FUEL overhead panel 40VU:
-push the L TK PUMPS 1
pushbutton switch.
3. Start and operate the APU (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-003).
NOTE : Operate the APU with no
____ electric and/or pneumatic load.
4. On the FUEL overhead panel 40VU:
-release the L TK PUMPS 1
pushbutton switch.
5. On the circuit breaker panel 49VU: - open the circuit breaker
APU/FUEL/BLOW OFF/PUMP 2QC. On the circuit breaker panel 121VU: - open the circuit breaker
APU/FUEL/BLOW OFF/CTL 1QC.
On the lower ECAM display unit:
-
the APU page comes into view.
On the FUEL overhead panel 40VU:
-
the OFF legend in the L TK PUMPS 1pushbutton switch goes off.
At the APU fuel pump 4QC on theFR42/ZONE 140:
-
the APU fuel pump is off.
On the FUEL overhead panel 40VU:
-
the OFF legend in the L TK PUMPS 1pushbutton switch comes on.
At the APU fuel pump 4QC on the FR42/ZONE 140:
-
the APU fuel pump operates.
At the APU fuel pump 4QC on theFR42/ZONE 140:
-
the APU fuel pump stops.
On the lower ECAM display unit:
-the FUEL LO PR message comes on (after a short time).

Do the APU shutdown (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-004).
7.
On the circuit breaker panel 49VU:
-
close the circuit breaker
APU/FUEL/BLOW OFF/PUMP 2QC. On the circuit breaker panel 121VU:
-
close the circuit breaker APU/FUEL/BLOW OFF/CTL 1QC.
8. On the APU section of the overhead panel 25VU:
-push the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch to the on position.
9. On the APU section of the overhead panel 25VU:
-release the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch to the off position.
NOTE : It is possible, that an APU AUTO
____ SHUTDOWN occurs.
On the lower ECAM display unit:
-the FUEL LO PR message goes off. NOTE : The ECB (59KD) stores the fault
____ message LOW FUEL PRESSURE CHECK APU FUEL SUPPLY (class 2).
On the APU section of the overheadpanel 25VU:
-
the ON legend in the APU MASTER SWcomes on.
At the APU fuel pump 4QC on the FR42/ZONE 140:
-
the APU fuel pump operates.
