On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.

Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.

Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized

A. Removal of the Electrical Lead - Igniter Plug WARNING : DISCONNECT THE LOW TENSION ELECTRICAL SUPPLY 5 MINUTES BEFORE
_______ YOU START WORK ON THE IGNITION SYSTEM. ALSO, GROUND THE IGNITER LEAD WITH AN INSULATED DEVICE AS YOU DISCONNECT IT FROM THE IGNITER PLUG. HIGH CURRENT AND VOLTAGE, WHICH ARE USED IN THE IGNITION SYSTEM, CAN KILL YOU.

Remove and discard the lockwire from the electrical connector (1).
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
(3)
Remove and discard the lockwire from the ignition electrical lead (2).
(4)
Disconnect and remove the ignition electrical lead (2) from the igniter plug (8031KM) (3) and the ignition unit (8030KM) (4).
(5)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
