A. Removal of the Igniter Plug WARNING : DISCONNECT THE LOW TENSION ELECTRICAL SUPPLY 5 MINUTES BEFORE
_______ YOU START WORK ON THE IGNITION SYSTEM. ALSO, GROUND THE IGNITER LEAD WITH AN INSULATED DEVICE AS YOU DISCONNECT IT FROM THE IGNITER PLUG. HIGH CURRENT AND VOLTAGE, WHICH ARE USED IN THE IGNITION SYSTEM, CAN KILL YOU.
NOTE : There is only one igniter plug. It is installed in the combustion

casing at 220 degrees viewed from the rear.
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (1) and wait 5 minutes before you continue.
(2)
Disconnect the ignition electrical lead (2) from the igniter plug (3).
(3)
Remove the igniter plug (3) and the gasket (4). Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
