 Removal of the Starter Motor Clutch (8033KM) - On Series 27, 46 and 57 APU's with change numbers 30 and/or 68 and/or 87 stamped on the modification plate. (Ref. Fig. 402/TASK 49-42-52-991-003)


 (1) Remove the starter motor (8KA) (Ref. TASK 49-42-51-000-002).

 Remove the bolts (1) and the washers (2) from the cover assembly (3).

 Remove the cover assembly (3) from the gearbox assembly.

 Remove and discard the packing (4).

 Remove the clutch assembly (8033KM) (5) from the gearbox housing.

 (6)
 Remove the wave-spring washer (6) from the gearbox housing.

 Put the blanking plugs on the gearbox housing. Subtask 49-42-52-020-054
