 Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.

 Make sure that the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR are open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).

 Make sure that the LIGHT SW 11LJ is set to the ON position.

 Make sure that the igniter leads are grounded with an insulated device.

 A. Installation of the Igniter Plug NOTE : There is only one igniter plug. It is installed in the combustion

 casing at 220 degrees viewed from the rear.

 (1)
 Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

 (2)
 Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

 (3)
 Apply a thin layer of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-014) to the threads of the igniter plug (3).

 (4)
 Remove all blanking caps and put the gasket (4) in position on the igniter plug (3).

 (5)
 Install the igniter plug (3) and the gasket (4).

 (6)
 TORQUE the igniter plug (3) to 2.03 m.daN (14.97 lbf.ft).

 (7)
 Connect the ignition electrical lead (2) to the igniter plug (3).

 (8)
 TORQUE the ignition electrical lead (2) connection to 0.4 m.daN

 (35.39 lbf.in).

 (9)
 Connect the electrical connector (1).

 (10) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

 Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

 Make sure that the insulating device is removed.

 (3)
 Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the OFF position.

 Close the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001).


 (5)
 Remove the access platform(s). Subtask 49-41-41-860-060

 B.
 Aircraft Maintenance Configuration

 (1)
 Pressurize the reservoirs of the hydraulic systems.
 (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).


 (2)
 De-energize the ground service network
 (Ref. TASK 24-42-00-862-001).


 (3)
 Remove the warning notice(s).
