Remove the caps and the plugs from the disconnected tubes, the connectors, and the openings.

Install the fittings on the diverter valve control (11):
NOTE: Make sure the diverter valve control that you install has
____ the same part dash number as the rate sensor.
(a) Install the packing (16), the new ring (17), the nut (18), and the elbow (19) in the drain outlet (21).
NOTE: Do not lubricate the packings.

1) Tighten the nut (18) with your fingers.
(b)
Install the new packing (12), lubricated with oil, and the reducer (13) in the Pc port (15). 1) Tighten the reducer (13) to 65-75 inch-pounds (7.3-8.5
newton-meters).
(c)
Install the elbow (29): 1) Lubricate the packing (26) with oil. 2) Install the packing (26), the ring (27), the nut (28), and
the elbow (29) on the test port for the diverter valve
control (11).
a) Tighten the elbow (29) with your fingers.

(d) Install the packings (8) and the nipples (7) in the fuel supply port (4) and the fuel return port (9).
NOTE: Do not lubricate the packings.

1) Tighten the nipples (7) to 65-75 inch-pounds (7.3-8.5 newton-meters).

Attach the bracket (2) to the diverter valve control (11) with the bolts (1 and 1A) and the nuts (10).
(a)
Tighten the nuts (10) to 36-40 inch-pounds (4.1-4.5
newton-meters).

(4) Install the diverter valve control (11):
NOTE: Make sure the diverter valve control that you install has

the same part dash number as the rate sensor.
(a) Install the packing (24), on the diverter valve control (11).
NOTE: Do not lubricate the packing.

(b) Install the packing (24A), on the adapter (25).
NOTE: Do not lubricate the packing.

(c)
Install the adapter (25) on the diverter valve control (11).
(d)
Install the bolts (3) that attach the diverter valve
control (11) to the load compressor case.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE ADAPTER (25) IS ALIGNED WITH THE LOAD
_______ COMPRESSOR CASE. IF THE ADAPTER IS NOT CORRECTLY ALIGNED WITH THE LOAD COMPRESSOR CASE, THE LOAD COMPRESSOR CASE WILL LEAK.
1) Tighten the bolts (3) to 36-40 inch-pounds (4.1-4.5 newton-meters).

Connect the sense line (30) to the elbow (29). 1) Tighten the sense line (30) to 90-100 inch-pounds (10.0-11.0 newton-meters).
2) Tighten the nut (28) to 38-42 inch-pounds (3.6-4.0 newton-meters).
(f)
Connect the drain line (20) to the elbow (19).
