CAUTION: REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS FROM THE OPENINGS AS NECESSARY.

Do these steps to install the igniter plug (6):
(a)
Install the two new gaskets (4) and sealing cover (5) on the igniter plug (6).

CAUTION:_______ MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT LET THE IGNITER PLUG FALL FROM YOUR
HANDS. IF THE IGNITER PLUG FALLS FROM YOUR HANDS, YOU
MUST REPLACE THE IGNITER PLUG. INTERNAL DAMAGE TO THE
IGNITER PLUG CAN OCCUR.
(b) Install the igniter plug (6) and sealing cover (5) in the gas generator case. 1) Tighten the igniter plug (6) to 300 inch-pounds (33.9
newton-meters), loosen the igniter plug and then re-tighten the igniter plug to 200-240 inch-pounds (22.6-27.1 newton-meters).
CAUTION: DO NOT LET THE LUBRICANT TOUCH THE CONDUCTORS IN THE
_______ IGNITION CABLE. A HIGH RESISTANCE BETWEEN THE IGNITER PLUG AND IGNITION EXCITER WILL RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE IGNITION CABLE.
(c)
Lightly apply the spray lubricant to the seal seat area at the ends of the ignition cable (1).
(d)
Connect but do not tighten the ignition cable (1) to the ignition exciter (2).
(e)
Connect but do not tighten the ignition cable (1) to the igniter plug (6).
CAUTION: DO NOT LET THE BRAID OR FERRULE OF THE IGNITION CABLE MOVE
_______ WHEN YOU TIGHTEN THE TWO COUPLING NUTS. DAMAGE TO THE IGNITION CABLE CAN OCCUR.
(f)
Tighten the two coupling nuts on the ignition cable (1) with your fingers plus 1/8 of a turn.
(g)
Do these steps to connect the electrical connector D95006 (P6)

to the ignition exciter (2):
1) Connect the electrical connector D95006 (P6) (3) to the ignition exciter (2).

2) Tighten the coupling ring on the electrical connector D95006 (P6) (3) until the electrical connector is at the bottom of the receptacle and the connection is tight.
3) Make sure the electrical connection is not loose when you move the APU harness.
E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
