Install a cap on the fuel supply tube (5).
(e)
Disconnect the fuel return tube (7) from the nipple (8).
(f)
Drain the fuel from the fuel return tube (7) into the container.
(g)
Install a cap on the fuel return tube (7).
(h)
Remove the five nuts (10) and five washers (11) that attach the fuel metering adapter (1) to the fuel pump.
(i)
Remove the fuel metering adapter (1).
(j)
Remove the two packings (12) from the fuel metering adapter (1). 1) Discard the two packings (12).
(k)
Remove the elbow (6), nut (4), ring (3) and packing (2). 1) Discard the ring (3) and packing (2).
(l)
Remove the nipple (8) from the fuel metering adapter (1).
(m)
Remove the packing (9) from the nipple (8). 1) Discard the packing (9).
(n)
Make sure you install all necessary protection covers.
(o)
Remove the container.
