Install the seal covers (2) on the fuel nozzle adapters (3 and 6).
NOTE: When you install the adapters, the seal cover holes
____ must align with the holes in the adapter flanges.
(c)
Install the fuel nozzle adapters (3 and 6) in the gas generator case with the bolts (4). 1) Tighten the bolts to 36-40 pound-inches (4.0-4.6 N.m).
(d)
Lubricate the 56 new packings (9) with engine fuel.
(e)
Install two packings (9) on each of the 28 transfer tubes (8).
(f)
Install two transfer tubes (8) in each of the 14 fuel nozzle adapters (3 and 6).
(g)
Connect the fuel manifolds (5 and 7) to the fuel nozzle adapters (3 and 6). 1) Tighten the manifold nuts to 310-340 pound-inches
(35.0-38.4 newton-meters) on fuel nozzle adapters (3) at 26 locations.
2) Tighten the manifold nuts to 360-400 pound-inches (40.7-45.2 newton-meters) on the fuel nozzle adapters (6) at 2 locations.
(h) Lock the fuel manifold nuts to the bolts (4) that attach the fuel nozzle adapters (3 and 6) with wire.

APU FUEL FILTER BYPASS INDICATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains the tasks to remove and install the bypass indicator for the APU fuel filter.
B. The bypass indicator for the fuel filter is on the bottom of the APU fuel pump. You can get access to the bypass indicator for the fuel filter through the APU access doors.
