 (2)  
Disconnect these electrical connectors:

 (a)  
The P3 electrical connector (10) from the filter bypass indicator on the fuel pump/FMU assembly (3).

 (b)  
The P4 electrical connector (17) from the FMU electrical connector.

Disconnect these tubes:

 (a)  
The FMU vent tube (19) from the reducer at the FMU vent port.

 (b)  
The flow divider tube (20) from the elbow at the flow divider port on the fuel pump/FMU assembly (3).

 (c)  
The fuel supply tube (21) from the fuel supply port on the FMU.

 (d)  
The fuel pressure tube (11) from the elbow in the fuel pressure port on the FMU adapter.

 (e)  
The fuel return tube (15) from the nipple in the fuel return port on the FMU adapter.

 (f)  
The fuel drain line (22) from the elbow on the drain port for the fuel pump.

 (g)  
The fuel supply tube (9) from the nipple in the fuel supply port for the fuel pump.

 (4)  
Remove the fuel pump/FMU assembly (3):

 (a)  
Remove the nut (18) and the bolt (4) that attach the three loop clamps (8 and 16) to the flat bracket (13).

 (b)  
Hold the fuel pump/FMU assembly (3).

 (c)  
Remove the four nuts (1 and 14) and the three washers (2).

 (d)  
Remove the fuel pump/FMU assembly (3).

Remove the plain seal (6):

 (a)  
Remove the retainer ring (7) from the spur gear shaft in the accessory gearbox (5).

 (b)  
Use the extractor to remove the plain seal (6) from the spur gear shaft in the accessory gearbox (5).
