 C.  At 55% N2 speed, the APU controller sets the inlet guide vane (IGV) demand to minimum. If N2 speed is greater than 55% and N1 speed falls be low 25% or rises above 125% the auto abort sequence will begin.
 D.  At 95% N1 speed, pneumatic and generator loading becomes available.
 E.  The APU operating hours and cycles are accumulated and stored as follows:
 (1)  The APU cycles and operating hours are stored in one of five EEPROM blocks in the APU controller (APUC). On start initiation, an EEPROM block counter is accessed to determine which of the five EEPROM blocks contains the most recent maintenance data of the installed APU. The APUC reads the resistance value (representing the APU serial number) in the APU serial number identification unit and searches for the most recent EEPROM block with that resistance stored in it. If none of the EEPROM blocks has the same resistance value, the next available EEPROM block is used. If all five EEPROM blocks have been utilized, the EEPROM block with the oldest data is overwritten.

 (2)  
Once an EEPROM block is selected, the start cycle counter will be incremented by one at lightoff (EGT > T1+180°C) within 20 seconds of N2 reaching 8 percent. The cumulative start cycles will be stored in the EEPROM block at APU shutdown.

 (3)  
After an N1 speed of 95 percent is achieved, the run time counter is activated and continues to run until the APU is shut down. At APU shutdown, the run time is downloaded to the EEPROM block where it is added to the cumulative APU operating time.

 (4)  
The APUC is commanded to transmit EEPROM data via the ARINC 429 BUS when the CMCS APU maintenance page is accessed. The APU serial number, starts, and operating hours are displayed on the APU maintenance page.
