If the thermocouple trim box is installed on the APU, do this task: Thermocouple Trim Box Removal (AMM 49-61-04/401).

Do a resistance check of the thermocouple trim box:
(a)
Use the ohmmeter to measure the resistance between pin A and pin C on the thermocouple trim box receptacle J11.
(b)
Make sure the TRIM DEG value agrees with the resistance measurement from pin A and pin C on the thermocouple trim box receptacle J11.
(c)
Make sure the TRIM DEG value agrees with the EGT TRIM value on the engine reference data plate.

AIR TEMPERATURE SENSORS - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure gives the tasks to remove and install the air temperature sensors.
B. The air temperature sensor T1/T6 is near the top of the aft side of the inlet plenum. The air temperature sensor T1 and the thermocouple cold junction sensor T6 is referred to as the air temperature sensor T1/T6.
C. The load compressor inlet temperature sensor T12 is on the bottom forward side of the inlet plenum. The load compressor inlet temperature sensor T1.2 is referred to as the load compressor inlet temperature sensor T12.
D. The load compressor outlet temperature sensor T13 is on the air supply duct for the pneumatic bleed system. The load compressor delivery temperature sensor T1.3 is referred to as the load compressor outlet temperature sensor T13.
