(a)
Remove the nut (10) and bolt (13) that attaches the clamp (12) to the bracket (11).
(b)
Remove the two nuts (16) that attach the ground adapter (17) to the accessory gearbox adapter.
(c)
Remove the nut (9) and bracket (11) that attaches the starter motor adapter (6) to the accessory gearbox (3).
(d)
Remove the nut (8) and washer (7) that attaches the starter motor adapter (6) to the accessory gearbox (3).
(e)
While you hold the starter motor adapter (6) in its position, remove the two nuts (14), two washers (15) and ground adapter (17).
(f)
Remove the starter motor adapter (6) from the accessory gearbox (3).
(g)
Remove the retaining ring (5) which holds the oil seal (4) in the accessory gearbox (3).
(h)
Use the seal extractor or an equivalent tool to remove the oil seal (4). 1) Discard the oil seal (4).
(i)
Make sure you install all necessary protection covers.
