o) Do this task: Fill the APU Oil Tank (AMM 12-22-02/301). p) Do this task: APU Starting and Operation
(AMM 49-11-00/201). q) Operate the APU for a minimum of 15 minutes. r) During the APU operation, examine the two chip
detectors (2) for signs of oil leakage. s) Do this task: APU Usual Shutdown (AMM 49-11-00/201). t) If you find oil leakage, repair the cause of the oil
leakage.
H. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1)
Close the left APU access door, 317AL, and right APU access door, 318AR:

(a)
Remove the two quick-release pins, disconnect the two hold-open rods and put the two hold-open rods in the two clips on the right access door.

(b)
Install the two quick-release pins in the two brackets on the right APU compartment bulkhead.

NOTE: The lanyard will hold the right access door on the APU
____
compartment bulkhead.

(d)
Remove the two quick-release pins, disconnect the two hold-open rods and put the two hold-open rods in the two clips on the left access door.

(e)
Install the two quick-release pins in the two brackets on the left APU compartment bulkhead.

(f)
Make sure the insulation covers are correctly attach to the APU compartment firewall.

(g)
Lift the left access door until the two APU access doors are approximately aligned.

AC GENERATOR DRIVE OIL SEAL -

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains the task for the removal and the installation of the oil seal for the AC generator drive. You can use this task for the oil seals on the two AC generators.
B. The oil seal is on the forward end of the generator drive shaft in the load gearbox. You can get access to the oil seal through the APU access doors.
